Youth-Led Sustainable Fashion Movement Powered By A Single Integrated Model For Environmental & Social Change.

single integrated model for environmental and social change

Environmental Sustainability, Creative Participation, and Economic Inclusion are increasingly interconnected challenges that require joined-up solutions.

Strategic Opportunity Areas

The intersections between the challenges reveal three strategic opportunity areas that sit at the heart of Wear the Future’s Model.

Strategic Opportunity Areas: Creative Opportunity Pathways, Circular Value Creation, Culture-led Circular Engagement

Working across these opportunity areas simultaneously, we connect circular fashion, community participation, and innovative pathways to create environmental and social outcomes that reinforce one another–helping to drive lasting behavioural and systems change.

OUR VISION & MISSION

Redefining Fashion. Expanding Opportunity.

We look forward to a future where value is no longer shaped by extractive systems, opportunity is unlocked by potential rather than circumstance, and participation is recognised as a fundamental driver of social and environmental change.

We drive that change by redefining value through circular models of consumption and expanding opportunity through innovative pathways that help young people build on their strengths and realise their potential

Our Team

Wear the Future was co-founded by Eva Novillo (CEO) and Leo Klink (Head of Operations), who bring together expertise across sustainability, systems thinking, organisational development and operational leadership. Together they lead the organisation’s mission to mobilise young people to drive change in the fashion industry.

They are supported by an exceptional Expert Advisory Board (EAB) from across sustainability, finance, technology, design and social impact who provide strategic guidance and specialist insight.

Alongside this, our Youth Advisory Board ensures that young people are actively involved in shaping our programmes, priorities and strategic decisions — keeping the voices of the next generation at the heart of everything we do.

Youth
Advisory Board, Steering Group

Wear the Future is supported by a Youth Advisory Board made up of young people aged 16–25 who play an active role in shaping the movement. The Board helps inform the development of programmes, campaigns, partnerships, and future priorities, ensuring that young people's experiences, ideas, and ambitions remain central to our work.

We believe meaningful participation leads to better outcomes and stronger communities. That's why we create opportunities for young people to contribute at different levels, from helping shape strategic decisions to supporting projects, events, and campaigns. This approach helps build a sense of ownership, belonging, and shared purpose while ensuring Wear the Future remains relevant, responsive, and youth-led.
